I am wondering if anyone might be interested in a free, online reading course for 3rd graders. Back in 2020 and 2021, I offered free 30-minute online math courses, which many families found helpful (you can check out my past course details and reviews here ). Life got busy, and I had to pause those efforts, but I’m excited to possibly start teaching online again, but this time focusing on reading skills.

Here’s what I’m thinking:

• Target student: 3rd graders who could use extra support with reading.

• 8-week course: Twice a week, 30 minutes per session.

• Start date: Tentatively February 7 – March 31, 2025.

• Schedule: Mondays and Fridays, 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM PT.

• Platform: Either Zoom or WebEx (students will need a web camera, speaker, and microphone).

While I’ve tutored math and reading for years in person, this would be my first time offering an online reading course. Teaching is something I truly enjoy, which is why I’m offering this completely free.
